Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding manuscript content.
  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
  • Report any concerns regarding plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or substantial similarity to previously published work.
  • Decline review assignments when conflicts of interest exist.

Research Misconduct

The journal considers the following practices to be unethical and unacceptable:

  • Data fabrication
  • Data falsification
  • Citation manipulation
  • Duplicate publication
  • Misrepresentation of authorship

Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

When errors or ethical issues are identified in published articles, the journal will take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record. Such actions may include:

Confidentiality

Editors and reviewers must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than those directly involved in the editorial and peer review process.
